Svetlana Lavrisyuk, Berezovka.

I, Svetlana Lavrisyuk, am a minister to the towns of Novogrudok and Berezovka, Grodno region. In Berezovka I ministered as a Sunday school teacher working with children aged from 7 to 14. In Novogrudok I started a Sunday school. Two children come there and I work with them.

Before the children had come to Sunday school, they had a different idea of God. Now they read the Bible, share with their friends what they do at Sunday school. Their parents do not let them to go to Sunday school though the children are willing to come. Therefore many children come just one time but two of them come constantly.

Besides, I reach out in a boarding school on a regular basis. There stay children aged 10-15 whose parents are derived of their rights (i.e. due to alcohol abuse) or are orphans. I praise the Lord for this opportunity (in Belarus it is often a challenge). I go to the boarding school on Sundays. I hold lessons on Biblical topics. I also share about God, we play game, watch movies. That is how children learn about God`s love and His love.

There is a problem with the church building since it is not legally registered. So we do not have an opportunity to invite children there. The children come to my home.

Please pray that the authorities may give a permission for church registration.
