During this month I had my ministry in the village Sledyuky. I conducted Sunday and weekly services, lessons at Sunday-school, we learned some new songs with children. I also visited believers at home, doing councelling. Especially important for me was reaching out. Once I met an old woman who was very busy in her vegetable garden. I started talking to her about God and God's love, sinfulness of people. I opened the book Four Spiritual Laws and spoke to her about our Savior, she listened to me very attentively. I had to repeat some phrases many times for her to understand and memorize better. The old woman could not read, she was very glad to have met me. When I suggested praying a repentance prayer, she agreed. I read the prayer to her and she repeated after me. She told it was so good to learn more about Jesus Christ. There were tears in her eyes. I asked one sister from our church to visit the woman and to read the Bible for her. I also invited the old woman to attend our church. She agreed.
There were many similar conversations with people. Not everybody responded positively. But I believe God's Word can not be unfruitful and I pray for those people.
Very often I played guitar and learned songs with my Sunday class. They liked it very much. As a result more children began attending the school. Some children copied songs, children feel very united when they sing together. Very actively the children took part in the discussion of the Bible lessons.
They liked to play out the Bible stories. I see the future of my church in these children. Please, pray for them.
