Mozyr:

There is a church in Mozyr. Three students came there to help a local missionary.

It was planned to have a Christian festival "Music and word" during our project and the first thing we did was making and distributing 15 thousand of invitations. It took us 8 days. Students walked the streets of the town, came to the houses distributing invitations and sharing the Gospel.

The festival lasted three days. Musical groups "Ark", "Bethlehem", choir of the Gomel church, our students took part in the program. Vasily Trubchik preached at the festival. 34 people responded to the call for repentance, we talked with them after the festival was over. We gave Christian literature to many people and wrote invitations to the Bible study in the local church to those who repented during the festival.

On June 11 we had the first Bible study with the people that repented at the festival. Three young people came to the church on that day. Apart from that the students just spent time with those people, it is very important to feel care when you make the first steps. One of the converts wrote a song for God on the day of his repentance.

On Tuesday, on June 18 twenty people came to the Bible study. This fact brought us much joy and encouragement. We spoke about God and His attributes.

We spent much time with converted people having Bible studies, personal conversations, going fishing and so on.

During the project we also took part in the life of the church: Sunday services, lessons for children, prayer meetings. We tried to help this small developing church. We invited people to all the program and meetings we held.

God has blessed our work. Now we are praying for the people we have been working with and if you have desire you can join us in this prayer.
